• Description: In 1937, the new Project 26bis received a modified superstructure, improved armor, and a new fire-control system. Built under this project, cruiser Molotov was commissioned in June 1941. During World War II, she repelled air attacks in Sevastopol, participated in the Kerch landing operation, and played a part in the defense of Sevastopol. After being hit by a German torpedo in 1942, Molotov was repaired in Poti and later transferred to the Black Sea Fleet.
